Karina Golisová (*1997) graduated from the Josef Vydra School of Applied Art in Bratislava in the field of textile design. She is a recent graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where she studied at the Department of Photography in the Studio of Photography, Reality and Construction. Karina completed a six-month student stay at Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland through Erasmus +, where she studied documentary photography. In 2020, she was the winner of Slovak Press Photo in the Students under 26 category. She had many exhibitions in Bratislava, Trnava, Belgrade, Trenčín and Budapest. She is the author of seven photographic zines, which she has published herself. She is currently studying for a master’s degree at the FAMU in Prague at the Department of Photography in the Imaginative Photography Studio.
