Journey to the center of the earth

This fanzine is the result of the residency on archives and contemporary memory curated by Alessia Rollo.

They were produced by participants who integrated photographic images provided by the Cursi Ecomuseum with photographs produced by them to reactivate narratives on themes that cut across the history of the area.

‘Journey to the centre of the earth’ used images from the quarries to reflect the contemporary apaesity through grafting metaphorical images that lead us to take the subjective view of a character who gets lost and is not found, in his attempt to cross the landscape where he happened to be.
